This is a large brass stamping of a bat has many possibilities which you will have fun creating with. The Big Eared bat or Fruit bat is shown in the verdigris patina but can also be purchased in black or a golden oxidized finish. The bat that you see pictured here has been patinated to a deep black color. As the verdigris patina is brushed on it immediately transforms into deep browns, golds, and greens and hints of blue. All the verdigris pieces on this website have had a layer of wax applied to retain the beautiful colors.
